Nic Potter
Nic Potter (18 October 1951 – 16 January 2013) was a British bassist, composer and painter, best known for his work with the group Van der Graaf Generator in the 1970s. Biography Nic Potter was born in Wiltshire and left school at 15, originally to train in carpentry. His older sister Sally, is a well-known film director. At the age of 16, he joined a late line-up of The Misunderstood, at the same time as drummer Guy Evans, who had joined from Van der Graaf Generator, then on a brief hiatus. When Van der Graaf decided to reform after the release The Aerosol Grey Machine, and earlier bassist Keith Ellis deciding to join Juicy Lucy instead, Evans recommended that Potter join as a replacement. Nic Leblanc (born 15 November 1941) was a member of the House of Commons of Canada from 1984 to 1997. He is a businessperson by career. Born in Sainte-Monique, Quebec, Leblanc was first elected in the Longueuil electoral district under the Progressive Conservative party in the 1984 federal election. He was re-elected in the 1988 federal election, only to leave the Progressive Conservative party on 26 June 1990 following the implosion of the Meech Lake Accord. Nicolai Marius "Nic" Schiøll (10 October 1901 – 29 December 1984) was a Norwegian sculptor and painter. He was most known for his public works, ornamental sculptures and memorials. Biography Schiøll was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. He was the son of Marius Larsen Schiøll (1870-1920) and Karen Louise Ødegaard (1874-1944). He graduated artium at Frogner School in 1920.
